Lightweight fan, palm very soft to the touch and malleable, varnished wooden handle comfortable to the touch, made completely by hand. Comes with a jipijapa pompom.
It slightly preserves the characteristic aroma of the jipijapa palm. Ideal for outdoor events, holidays and gatherings.
Naturally pigmented colors and finish with great detail.
Measurements 12 cm brim by approximately 40 cm wide. Please note that there may be variations in color tone as well as size. This does not affect its quality.
The wood can be cedar (Cedrela odorata L.), Jabin (Piscidia piscipula) or Tzalam (Lysiloma latisiliquum) . They are woods native to the Yucatan Peninsula.
What is Jipijapa?
The Jipi is a palm native to Panama that was introduced to Mexico in colonial times and now has its settlement in Calkiní, Campeche. Jipijapa is the process of making the characteristic hats of this municipality, its qualities are its quality, lightness, freshness and flexibility, not to mention that its colors are unique and beautiful.
