What is Jipijapa?
The Jipi is a palm tree native to Panama that was introduced to Mexico during the colonial era and is now located in Calkiní, Campeche.
Jipijapa is the process of making the characteristic hats of this municipality. Their qualities are their quality, lightness, freshness and flexibility, not to mention that their colors are unique and beautiful.
